Danielle is an accomplished journalist with experience in magazines, newspapers, radio and television across Canada. She teaches across multiple platforms in the Journalism – Mass Media program at Durham College, where she introduces students to a range of skills from broadcast reporting to data journalism, media law and ethics, and general news reporting. Danielle has led students on several international projects to places such as Peru, the Caribbean, and Kenya. She is also focused on understanding the impact of the digital age on journalism and is undertaking her M.A. in Communications and Technology at the University of Alberta to expand her knowledge in this area.
