Dear readers,
As we kick off our Global Ambassadors Summer Exchange Program, I am so excited to introduce to you our new SOS Global Ambassadors who will be participating in online exchanges and supporting SOS throughout the summer.
Meet the SOS volunteers of Team 4:
Kimia Jafar Zadeh

Kimia is currently in her second year of Behaviour, Cognition, and Neuroscience. She has been a logistic representative with the SOS Windsor Chapter since the fall of 2019. Kimia can speak three different languages, English, French, and Persian, and often spends her summers teaching French.
Marggi Patel
Marggi is currently in her second year of Biological Sciences at the University of Alberta. She is a new volunteer to the SOS community, acting as the VP of Finance with the University of Alberta Chapter as well as managing their social media accounts. Marggi is hoping to use this experience to meet peers from across the globe and learn more about different cultures.
Staecey Merveille Ngabire
Staecey is currently in her fourth year of Civil Engineering at the University of Windsor. This year was her first year volunteering with SOS as a tutor for second year engineering students. Staecey’s goal is to engage in lifelong engineering and environmental experiences to be able to share her knowledge and inspire a new community of learners.
Shahd Haddad
Shahd is currently in her fourth year of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Ottawa. She volunteers as an Exam Aid Instructor for Organismal Biology and Lifespan Psychology with the SOS Ottawa Chapter. She is very excited to fundraise in support of the program and is looking forward to learning more about the hopes, dreams, and experiences of her partner!
